Something along the lines of a multi-tiered dashboard would be more than useful, in fact, I believe imperative.
  • Top level might where databases, shares, total users attached
  • A level on which databases etc. may be created, managed and where shares for those databases may be managed
  • Drill down to database and its attributes, e.g., size, ACLs, throughput
  • Drill down to shares per database, update shares, show number of users attached
  • Send 'signals' to share users informing them of an update and also the pending deletion of the share
(I often see messages from MotherDuck informing me that I should repeat the statement because the catalog has changed)
