Yes, European companies will have requirements to keep data within the EU and thus people I have talked to cannot use Motherduck until EU Hosting is in place.

We, GoodData Business Intelligence platform, have customers/prospects in Europe.
I recommended them MotherDuck.
Some of them are already your paying customers.
They are asking for a data center in Europe due to regulatory reasons and also due to performance (latency across the ocean).

Our company policy requires that data doesn't leave europe.

Yes please, this is also something we would need

A must have for any EU adoption

Very interested in this. We already built a production environment around duckdb, so when Motherduck is ready in Europe we can just switch our connection-strings and we have a super modern data platform 🥳

The site is not GDPR compliant today. The sooner it is, the better for Europe which is, after all, the 2nd or 3rd biggest economy in the world today.
GDPR, for instance, insists on warnings about the use of cookies or local storage not just the location of data being stored. Almost very website I visit, anywhere in the world, contains the warning and requests permission to store and use cookies.

Also interested in having a support for EU hosting ! (Our potential usage depends on it as well) :)
