We've just released a SQL formatter for MotherDuck notebooks, along with a keyboard shortcut. This supports formatting the entire cell, or a selection. Check out an example in our release notes here: https://motherduck.com/docs/about-motherduck/release-notes/#august-12-2025

If this is implemented, I highly recommend SQLFluff. Maybe there are other good options, but SQLFluff is the one I've used and had a really good experience with.
